My Values
Commitment

I believe happiness is a tailored fit. I know how important all alterations are for you and I always try to do my best to meet your requirements. It's a promise that your things will always be taken care of, as if they were my own. My small business is driven by my passion to make the good things.. even better!

Quality

I always try to provide the best quality services and to deliver premium value to my customers. I take my time with each and every item and always try to strive to meet or exceed the clients' expectations.

Not clients.. but friends!

There is a reason I've decided to name my business FriendlyStitchesEvery one who comes to my atelier or everyone who wants my help is not just my client, they are simply my friend. It's really easy to disappoint clients.. but with friends the case is different. Thanks to every one of you, I am able to do what I love and I will always be grateful for that. From me you can except a friend, who can help you alter your item with a big and warm smile!

My Story

My name is Dani and I am in the sewing business for over 22 years. I have always known my dream job would be something creative. I find it fascinating how with your imagination you can build and change things . When I was growing up I used to try to alter all my clothes to make them more special, having no idea that this would one day become my real 'calling'.

I am originally from Bulgaria, where I actually started developing my passion for sewing. I was really young and I was just started my career path but even then I could understand that sewing and alteration for me were the right way to be creative while helping others.

In 2011 I decided I wanted more adventures  and  it was time for me to move from my home country. This is when I started my first sewing job in London. There I had the chance to work with so many famous designers. My main focus in the London atelier was creating woman apparel and alterations of pretty much everything possible. I've worked on different clothes, including wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses and even curtains. What I've actually learned the most from this job was how important following your passion is.  I saw what people can achieve, when they are doing what they love.. and that's when I decided I wanted the same for me.

In 2015 I had the courage to follow my dream and I started my own business - S.A.M Creations LTD. I was extremely fortunate to be able to work with excellent London designers again, including Richard Quinn, Tata-Naka, Fyodor Golan, Richard Malone, Serena Bule and many more. I continued doing the same - creating some new items and let's say - fixing others.

What I was missing though was the quite life. That's how I decided to move to Portsmouth and start another small business. I'm just at the beginning of developing FriendlyStitches, but I believe I have the experience and more important the desire to make it a successful and useful brand to all of you.
